c. Young Eagles – Dale Seitzer - About 100 this year, next YE May 2025, possible Sunday rain dates TBD

g. Ray Scholarship – Bruce Olson - Anna: Written 10/18, New Instr at Lk Elmo Aero, 2025 Application for Chapter to be submitted this month.
5. Old Business
a. Tool Library admin to be developed by Bill Schanks. Will send out a list of tools.
b. Membership cleanup: moved expired members out of active status. Scott Hutchinson renewed.
c. Air Academy applicants
i. Ellory Berniard – accepted, board approved scholarship last month
Candidate Background, Emma paid EAA (less $200 deposit).
ii. David Phernetton (Phyllis Jaworski) – accepted, invited by EAA to apply for ‘Campership’. Camperships announced in March by EAA
We can consider helping with the balance. Marlon requested a ‘Candidate Marlon/Background’.
iii. WoonYi Hanson – joined chapter as student member. Intended to apply for Air Academy (post Oct.meeting, late). Recommended co-applying for ‘Campership’
d. Holiday Tree of Hope – ANE: Toy collection Dec.7, chapter members notified.

a. Chapterhouse Hazard Insurance due w/Gruys A&M Ins
i. Building replacement value set at $144.4K, contents $11.7K, Ed ran RC estimate- $211,400, Quotes requested Falcon and Broker- will follow-up 11/6/24
ii. $2500 Deductible, Cost for 1yr renewal $952
b. Alternate Quotes- 2 applied, TBD Self Insurance- Not recommended
