November 16th 2025 Meeting

The November meeting of EAA Chapter 1467 was well attended and hosted by Ron Angerman at his hangar, where members enjoyed an early Thanksgiving lunch thanks to generous donations. With quorum met, the chapter approved the October minutes, reviewed a positive financial report, and reminded members of upcoming dues deadlines and rate changes due to the lack of a December meeting. 

President Eddie Brennan provided an update on proposed bylaw changes related to quorum requirements, while Safety Coordinator Don Schmotzer led an engaging discussion on aircraft refueling safety that prompted valuable member input. Ray Scholarship recipient Ana Filich was congratulated on passing her Private Pilot written exam and shared updates on her training and fundraising efforts. The meeting also included EAA’s monthly VMC question and the introduction of a new “Open Forum” agenda item to encourage sharing best practices. 

Elections for 2026 officers were held, with Eddie Brennan elected President, Roger Kohls Vice President, Jim Matthews Treasurer, and Debbie Philbin Secretary; Stan Lawrimore will continue serving as Chapter Webmaster. Additional leadership appointments included Randy Berry as Emeritus Director and Larry Philbin as Chapter Education Director. 

The meeting concluded with reminders about upcoming chapter events before adjournment.
