Winchester Aviation will officially open for business in the new terminal building on Wednesday, January 15 at 8:00AM. We are excited to show you the new facility that is the culmination of 8+ years of study, planning, and execution!
To orient yourself: the main level features Winchester Aviation, a spacious lobby, flight planning area, vending machines, 24/7 pilot lounge, and business center. It is also the new home of Aviation Adventures, Aero Elite, and the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber of Commerce. The second floor has the airport administration offices, an interior/exterior observation deck, and a public art program in partnership with ShenArts. With this exciting announcement we also request your understanding as we complete minor punchlist items and other tasks to make the space fully functional.
Thanks for your support through several years of construction and operational disruptions. We are confident you will find the new facility was worth the wait!
