Our Chapter's September flyout took us to Morgantown, WV (KMGW). The restaurant on the field serves Mediterranean food. A total of six airplanes participated. John and Diane Munroe (RV-6), John Ely (RV-7A), Bob Metcalfe (Panther), Tom Leone (T-51), Kirk (from FRR in his Piper Cherokee) and Juergen Nies (Piper Pacer).
On the way to Morgantown Juergen, John Ely and Bob entered the class D as a flight of three, while Tom and John Munroe arrived as a flight of two. Kirk was already waiting on the ground.
After a delicious lunch Tom Leone negotiated with the tower controller a departure as a flight of six. I'm sure the tower controllers don't see that too often.
Another great flyout. I hope to see more of you at the next flyout.
