- Two of our members recently had their airplanes painted! Take a look here: John Fontaine's RV-12 and Tom Leone's T-51 Mustang- Next Chapter Meeting (July 2024): This month’s EAA Chapter 1031 meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at the Front Royal Airport (KFRR) starting at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in Bob Metcalfe’s hanger which is located immediately below the airport beacon. The gate into the hanger area will be open and you can drive to parking area near Bob’s hanger. Weather permitting you are welcome to fly into the meeting.
DID YOU KNOW?
Our chapter (1031) was established on May 20th, 1993! So, using "pilot math", that means our EAA Chapter has been in continuous operation for over 31 years.
Bob Jacobs was one of the original chapter members and he is still a member today.

Also, one of our long-standing members is Juergen, who joined the chapter in 1994.
