The weather couldn't have been any better. We moved the fly out from Saturday to Sunday since it was too windy on Saturday and we were rewarded with a great day to fly. Unrestricted visibility, not a cloud in the sky, low surface winds and smooth flight as long as you climbed above 4,000 feet.

We had one Bonanza, one Cessna Cardinal, two Piper Super Cubs, two RV-7As, one RV-8A and one Piper Pacer participate in the fly out for a total of eight airplanes and 11 members/guests. I was the first to arrive and monitored the arrival of everyone on ForeFlight and on my handheld radio. I watched everyone's landing, but I won't tell the score. The whole line of airplanes are participants of the fly out except the one lone Piper Saratoga and the white low wing in the first picture.

We gathered at the nice porch at the FBO before walking over to the main terminal to the Mexican restaurant. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, they were able to accommodate our large group. The food is always good at that restaurant and this time one of our members got a special treat because of his birthday. Look at the pictures, you will figure it out.

I hope to see more of you at the next fly out.

Fly safe, Tailwind and enjoy the ride,

Juergen
