Young Eagles Build and Fly program.  Josh Sinclair volunteered to be the leader of the program and gave a presentation.  The program enables children to build and fly radio-controlled airplanes for children to learn about aviation and flying.  Included in the program is a simulator for practicing RC flying before doing it with the actual airplane.  We would partner with a local RC club. There is an authorized RC aircraft flying area locally and we can use it.

Henderson Executive Airport will let us use the conference room for sessions with the children.  The cost is $450-$540 per kit.  We have a budget for this by using the Young Eagles money given to us by National EAA

Motion to start and support this program led by Josh Sinclair funded by Chapter Young Eagles money and supplemented by chapter if necessary (Norm/Ivan) – Motion carried.

Bylaws Change vote later this year

- staggered election of officers

- change to the requirement of when an auditor is needed

Young Eagles

There was one question about any limits to the number of times a child can participate in the program.   There is no limit.
