Thanks to Tre Moore who brought food for the meeting
There was a call for a volunteer to bring food to the next meeting (August). Sara Weiner volunteered.
Visitors and Guests:
Dylan Venuto - light sport repairman license, eventually want to be an A&P. Mostly fly out of North Las Vegas. Dad got him into flying. Almost have requirements for Light Sport Repairman
Ashton Doughty - new to flying.
Dave Stewart - in EAA up in North Las Vegas. Working on Instrument Rating
Jason - retired military
Old Business:
Young Eagles - took 80 kids, Desert Flying Club helped to host. Ivan’s granddaughter got to fly for the first time.
May Barbecue - well attended, good food, wonderful time
Sara Weiner reported that she just passed her check ride and is now a private pilot
New Business:
There will be no membership meeting in the month of July, as usual, due to attendance at Airventure in Oshkosh that month.
Several members are planning to attend Airventure at Oshkosh this year. If people are interested in joining our group and need accommodations, see Roger Hansen.
Reports and Motions
Motion to approve the Minutes of the last meeting (Seb Trost/Pete Fata) – Approved
Treasury Report was read by Seb Trost, then there was a motion to approve the report (Norm Cruz/Sara Weiner) - Approved
Motion to adjourn business meeting (Norm Cruz/John Bremner) - Approved)
Business meeting adjourned at 7:16 pm.

Alan Zwick gave a very informative presentation on Oratex fabric, and how he covered his Kitfox with it
Went around the room discussed progress on people’s projects
Roger Hansen – Discussed recent repair to his fuel system
