EAA Chapter 878

Maple Lake & Buffalo, MN

Welcome to Chapter 878

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter.

We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.

The Chapter 878 Pancake Breakfast, currently planned for June 14 in conjunction with the Buffalo Car Show, is cancelled.  Also, the July AirVenture Oshkosh 2020 has officially been canceled. While this is sad, it was not unexpected.  So, start your planning for AirVenture 2021!

Monthly Chapter 878 Meetings

In person Chapter 878 Monthly meetings will begin again in July 2020, please contact Wayne Flury if you have any questions on location and times

While we are all confined to home, youth may be interested in the "Weather Minds" classes on YouTube, which include brief videos of Airplane Flight Data, Blizzards, Thunder, Rainbows, etc., and each ends with a book about the subject read by one of the KARE 11 meteorologists.  Adults, too, can learn from the lessons!
