Funded by generous donations to the AOPA Foundation, a wealth of scholarship opportunities are available, including those earmarked for high school students. Start your application today!

Application Deadline: February 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Award Amounts: Scholarships range from $2,500 to $14,000 and support primary flight training, advanced ratings/certificates, aviation maintenance, and more.
Eligibility: Open to AOPA members who are U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent legal residents.
Special Opportunities:
High School Students: The AOPA Foundation has earmarked 80 scholarships of $10,000 each for students ages 16-18 to earn their private pilot certificate. Additional criteria apply.
AOPA You Can Fly Curriculum Teachers: Apply for one of 20 available $10,000 scholarships to earn your private pilot certificate. Additional criteria apply.
With just one application, you'll be automatically considered for all scholarships for which you're eligible. The total number and value of scholarships will be determined by donor funding, which may be finalized just before the awards are announced.
