I am currently scratch building (well, mostly) a Bob Barrows Bearhawk 4 place Model A aircraft. I did buy the wing ribs and spars already formed as well as the landing gear legs, but I have done the rest from raw materials. The Bearhawk is kind of a Maule on steroids; more room, more speed, shorter take-off and landings, much more payload, and you don't have to pay someone to maintain it for you. |
