| What is EAA?
Our chapter is part of the worldwide network of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) chapters. EAA embodies the spirit of aviation through the world's most engaged community of aviation enthusiasts. EAA's 170,000 plus members enjoy the fun and camaraderie of sharing their passion for flying, building and restoring recreational aircraft. To find out more about EAA and our programs and services, please visit our home page at EAA.org. Our Chapter is a group of aircraft builders, owners and enthusiasts with a hangar, lounge and workshop facility located at the Carp Airport ( CYRP ) on the west end of the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Our meetings are held at the EAA Carp Hangar ( CYRP ), every third Saturday at 10:00 AM and often include a BBQ. Some of our meetings will held by Zoom when in inclement weather. There is no July meeting because many of our members are attending AirVenture in Wisconsin, also there is no December meeting because it is too close to Christmas. |
