President's Message:

Happy Spring!
As pilots, each flight we take, each landing we make, and each challenge we overcome, shapes us into the aviators we are today. Let’s strive to set our sights high, knowing that with dedication, perseverance, and a spirit of camaraderie, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. May your wings be strong, your vision clear, and your spirit unbroken. Fly high, fly safe, and never stop reaching for new heights!
The next general meeting will be held at the chapter hangar at 10AM on

BBQ
As usual for this summer, we will be having our monthly BBQ so don't eat up too much for breakfast and come and fill up on Hotdogs and Hamburgers.

September 20th Fly-In breakfast: by Ken Potter.
I want to thank all of the EAA 245 members who came out yesterday to volunteer for setup and today for the Fly-In.
Wow, what a great day we had today. The WX was perfect. We sold approx. 220 meals. We had an interesting cross section of planes attending including a King Air from Lachute ($4,000 breakfast) and, on top of that the local community came out with many families with kids eager to learn about airplanes and of course have a great breakfast.
There are too many volunteers to list, but I'll call out a few. In the Canuck hangar running the food prep, Scott Miller... you Rock!!!!! On marshalling duty our stalwart keeping it safe, Phil Johnson, running Carp UNICOM for what is the most professional day of the year Carp experiences was of course Dwyane Price. And lastly, and not least, the volunteers who greeted all our guests, the servers; coordinated by my bride of 41 years Judy Potter.
To quote Forest Gump... "I'm really tired now"....
