The Tool Crib Program is based on the premise that aircraft builders and owners often need an expensive tool for a specific, infrequent operation. It is hard for individuals to justify purchasing these tools for only a few uses. The solution is a library of tools–the Tool Crib– that are available to be borrowed by EAA Chapter 9 Members in good standing.
The Tool Crib program is for you if:
- You are building an aircraft and need a specialized aircraft tool
- You are maintaining your own certified or experimental aircraft and need a specialized aircraft tool
- You have aircraft tools that you'd be willing to loan to other Chapter Members or donate to the chapter
