FOBA Aviation Scholarships Available

 

Friends of Buffalo Airport (FOBA) Scholarship

Applications due on or before May 3, 2024

In the spring of 2024, The Friends of Buffalo Airport (FOBA) will be awarding a $ 1,000 Scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Buffalo High School. This Scholarship will be a payout directly to the winning individual to assist the selected person in pursuing any career related to aviation.    All applicants must meet the qualifications stipulated below and applications will be reviewed by the FOBA Scholarship committee. To be considered the applicant must meet the following qualifications:

  • Applicants will be a graduating senior of Buffalo, MN High School Class of 2024.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
    • Transcript must be included for application to be considered.
  • Applicants must have intent to pursue a career in aviation. Including but not limited to:
    • Air Traffic Controller
    • Air Craft Maintenance
    • Airport Management
    • Aviation Business Administration
    • Aviation Management
    • Maintenance Management
    • Professional Pilot
    • Un-Manned Aerial System (Drone)
