Join us for our next event:
Saturday, August 9:
10:00 AM
Matt Van DeWalle will lead us through another thought-provoking and challenging VMC Club. Matt will present VFR flight scenarios for us to consider, and then lead a discussion on our ideas and thoughts about these scenarios. This program is all about improving your judgement as PIC of your aircraft.
11:30 AM
We will all stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a delicious lunch. Lunch will be a yummy entree, side dishes, dessert, and a beverage. If you join us for lunch, we humbly ask for a donation of $7.53 ($7.00 cash) or greater.
After lunch, we will have a presentation by our fellow member, Alex Pearson who purchased the rights to John Thorp's very cool T-18 two-place, all-metal, homebuilt aircraft. This is a very interesting story, come out and learn what Alex is doing with the aircraft and what he has planned for the future. Here is more of the builder content you have been asking for.
All of this is happening at our clubhouse on the San Geronimo Airpark. Directions are below.
**Breaking News**
As part of the Chapter's 2025 technology upgrade, we now have the capability to stream our events to the internet. Our inaugural stream will be Alex Pearson's presentation at our August 9, 2025, Chapter Gathering. We will begin the stream about 12:45 PM. To find our stream, go to YouTube, search for @eaachapter35, click on our purpleish logo, click on Live, click on the live broadcast. If you don't see a live broadcast selection, please be patient as we may be having technical difficulties (even though we have tested and practiced it ten times). Fingers crossed!
