Choosing a flight instructor, or flight school, to train with is one of the most important aspects of becoming a pilot. Each of us learn differently, or are in different phases of our lives, and finding an instructor/teacher/advocate who is a genuine partner will play a vital role in earning your certificate.
We recommend spending some time getting to know your potential flight instructor, or flight school; their teaching philosophy, their scheduling system, the aircraft they train in, their success rate, their expectations, and definitely their rates.
Most flight instructors, and flight schools, offer a discounted introductory flight lesson; this is a less expensive way to see how you and your prospective instructor get along. Ask you instructor, or flight school, for a Discovery Flight.
