Scholarship Opportunities
EAA Chapter 648 is committed to helping aspiring aviators fund their training. Below you'll find three categories of scholarships: the EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship (a national program administered through local chapters), our own Chapter 648 scholarship, and a collection of additional aviation scholarships from other organizations. Click the tabs below to explore each opportunity.
Always verify current requirements, deadlines, and award amounts on each program's website.

Each year, EAA Chapter 648 awards at least one aviation scholarship to a local student pursuing
flight training or another aviation pathway. Awards may be used toward lessons, written exams,
ground school, or other qualified expenses.
Each year, EAA Chapter 648 sponsors up to two young people to attend EAA's Air Academy, a week-long aviation education camp held at EAA's headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The chapter covers the cost of attendance, giving students a hands-on immersion into the world of aviation.
Beyond our chapter and EAA national scholarships, many organizations offer funding for flight training, maintenance programs, and aviation careers. Check each program's website for current deadlines and eligibility.
