Pancake Breakfast Fly-in
August 9, 2026
8 am - 11:30 am
The annual Chapter 54 pancake breakfast will be held again this year on August 9 and we look forward to seeing you. We welcome our friends in the greater Lake Elmo community to come visit us and find out what's happening at Lake Elmo Airport, and meet your neighbors! We look forward to seeing pilots in the region, flying in for a hearty breakfast.
Consult this section for all the instructions pilots need to fly in safely.
Save the date. We look forward to seeing you.
Here are some images of last year's fun.
More than 500 breakfasts were served during the chapter's only fundraiser, the proceeds of which fund the chapter's education efforts intended to help young people in our communities gain a pathway to aviation. See photos of the day's events.
Once the fog left the area, aircraft coming in included three helicopters which were big hits. The Washington County Sheriff's Department also provided a K9 demonstration. And an aviation book giveaway provided extra funds for scholarships.
In 2025, the chapter's aircraft judges selected Jerry Chapman's 1946 Aeronca 7AC Champ for the Best in Show Award.
Matt Cooper took home honors in the Best Experimental category with his T-18 Thorp.
