This scholarship is established by EAA (John Livingston) Chapter 227, working in conjunction with the Waterloo Community Foundation for young pilots pursuing their Private Pilot's License at an approved pilot training program at the Waterloo Airport, Independence Airport, Oelwein Airport, or Waverly Airport. This scholarship shall award $1,000 to eligible candidates, as long as there are sufficient assets in the Fund. A maximum of 5 awards can be offered in a calendar year.
