Joining Our Chapter
Membership in Chapter 227 is available to anyone with an interest in aviation. Although many Chapter members either own or have built/restored an airplane, these activities are not required for membership. In fact, several members don't own an airplane or project, and some don't have their pilot certificates—but they all share a common love of aviation!
Rewards of Chapter membership include:
Ø Promoting and staying current with General Aviation
Ø Making new friends with a common interest
Ø Monthly Chapter meetings with fun and educational programs
Ø Subscription to our monthly Tower Talk newsletter
Ø Support and vast technical knowledge of Chapter members
Ø Use of Chapter tools
Ø Chapter projects, activities, and events
Ø Young Eagles rallies
Ø Hangar breakfasts, chili supper and Holiday gala
Joining our Chapter is easy! You’re welcome to join us at any of our Chapter meetings or activities, by contacting any of our leadership, or on this website. Chapter meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Waterloo Regional Airport Conference Room. We also meet for breakfast on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00am at Cedar Falls Family Restaurant 2627 Center Street in Cedar Falls.
Chapter dues are $15 for a Regular (Single) membership and $20 for a Family (Spouse/Children) membership per year. National EAA stipulates National membership when joining a Chapter. National membership can also be arranged at any Chapter meeting, on this website, and at eaa.org.
