Repaving of the taxi lane between hangars is now planned for 2024, pending funding from Federal, State and County sources. The existing asphalt is only an inch in thickness and it cannot be repaired. New asphalt will be 3 inches. Areas in red and yellow on the map will be repaved.
Construction is still on track to start May 20th. Once started, we will only have one runway (3) for phase 1 of the project. When phase 1 is complete, 14/32 will reopen for the duration of the project. The runways will be closed for a short time after repaving when they are painted.
