AIRPORT DAY at Menominee Regional Airport (KMNM) on Saturday, August 5, 2023 was a great success: Young Eagles flights, pancake breakfast, police and fire department displays, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) recruitment and simulators (several chapter members are also in CAP) and aircraft displays. Jeremy Anderson, Chapter President, and neighbor to Zak Aubert, Store Owner of Wind Rose North Outfitters put together a fantastic event complete with community representatives, Delores Konrad, and Andre Pichette of the local Civil Air Patrol and other local services. Plenty of pancakes were consumed and proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the chapter to expand it's reach to youth in our area. Sizable number of attendees including some from a large part of northern Wisconsin and the lower U.P. attended the gathering.
