EAA Chapter One is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Its leadership and board of directors are all volunteers. Even our pilots who fly Young Eagles and Eagle Flights donate their own time, fuel, and aircraft costs to introduce others to the joy of flight. As such, we rely on membership dues and donations for our continued operations.
The nature of the organization is that our normal operating costs exceed membership income. Therefore, we rely heavily on donations to fund our many educational and social events including monthly Tuesday meetings, Saturday morning pancake breakfasts, build-a-plane projects, and fly-ins and fly-out camping adventures.
Our proudest contributions, in partnership with EAA, is providing up to $10,000 annual flight training scholarships and other sponsorship opportunities for the next generation of aviation professionals. We also sponsor 1-2 youth each year to attend EAA’s Air Academy in Wisconsin.
We encourage you to attend Chapter One events to connect with a group of friends and aviation enthusiasts. We appreciate and thank you for your generous support of time and money.
If you have another asset (airplane, car, etc.) that might benefit the chapter via donation, please contact us at EAA.Ch1.info@gmail.com / 951-847-5474. You can also join our email list by clicking here.
Wishing you blue skies and tailwinds!
