2023 EAA Ford Tri-Motor visit to Thermal
From Friday, October 6 through Sunday, October 8, 2023, the EAA Ford Tri-Motor visited Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM). Visitors had a rare opportunity to see the historic aircraft and fly aboard a machine that helped define the early years of passenger aviation.

Known as one of the first luxury airliners, the Ford Tri-Motor helped redefine world travel and marked an important chapter in the development of commercial aviation. Watch EAA's Ford Tri-Motor experience video.
Proceeds helped support Chapter 1116's Young Eagles, scholarship, and aviation education programs, which introduce and inspire young people to discover aviation.
