Congrats to Ron and Paul who were featured in the Nov. 17, 2025 edition of The Experimental Aviator. The article, Swing-Away Engine Mount, written by Bill Rapucci, focused on the building of their Rans S-20, and the modifications needed to accommodate the engine they wanted to use in the project.

Our own Gary Baker, along with Tim and Liz Popp and Michael Dooley, was named Volunteer of the Year by EAA. Their awards were present at this year's AirVenture. Congratulations to Jack Pomfret, our latest Ray Scholar, who passed his Private Pilot's check-ride and earned his Private Pilot's license! If you are keeping score, that's five Scholars in six years. We have wonderful young aviators who have earned their Private Pilot's Certificate through the Ray Scholarships available from the Experimental Aircraft Association, and dedicated chapter volunteers who have worked with them to help them earn their certificates. Many thanks to Ray Scholarship Coordinator Mike Guenthner, who has dedicated countless hours to making the program a success and to all who have helped with this amazing program.
