In addition to our monthly meetings, chapter activities include an annual banquet, Young Eagle rallies in the warmer months, a monthly flyout to a local airport (generally for breakfast), and visits to member's aircraft projects. We also award scholarships each year to local youth interested in aviation, and are currently mentoring a Ray Aviation Scholar
Since 2019, we have received Chapter Recognition at the Silver level. This program was created to recognize chapters that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to general aviation. Developed in partnership with EAA’s Chapter Advisory Council, it’s based on 10 criteria that are consistently found in active and engaged chapters.
