Young Eagles: We will not be holding a Young Eagles rally this month. Our rally in October will be the last for 2023.  We will again be at the Schaumburg airport. Hours are from 8:30 to noon. As usual we are looking for volunteers, both pilots and ground crew, to make the event a success.  Please make sure you are current with your EAA Youth Protection clearance.

Members Meeting: We will be meeting again at Lake In The Hills, in Ted Lipinski's hangar. This will be our last meeting for 2023 in the hangar, with cookout starting at 6. Our presentation will begin at 6:45, and our speaker will be our own Brad Delisle.  He will be sharing his journey in aviation, from being a youth EAA member (maybe even before then) through to being a captain in the airlines. This may be of particular interest for our youth members. Hope to see you all there!

Board Meetings

Held in alternate months beginning in February at 6:30 PM. Location announced prior to the meeting, and all members are welcome to attend. Some meetings may be virtual via Zoom.

Young Eagle Rallies

We expect to be flying May through October, the first Saturday each month beginning at 8:30 AM.

The scheduled dates and locations will be decided in February,and posted here when avilable. You must pre-register for a rally at youngeaglesday.org.

Rallies are weather dependent.

 Breakfast Fly-outs

We try to fly-out on the third Saturday of each month, with details announced shortly before each event. 

 Pancake Breakfast

The board continues to discuss whether, and where, to proceed with a Breakfast in 2023. Look for updates here concerning the breakfast.
