Each year, EAA Chapter 706 sponsors an area youth to attend the Air Academy summer camp in Oshkosh. Details about the camp, curriculum and dates can be found at EAA Air Academy. Our scholarship winner will be able to attend one of the following sessions:
- Navigating Horizons Camp - Session 2 (Ages 16-18): Friday, June 19, 2026 12:00 AM - Wednesday, June 24, 2026 12:00 PM
- Explore Aviation Camp - Session 1 (Ages 14-15): Saturday, June 27, 2026 12:00 PM - Thursday, July 02, 2026 12:00 PM
The camper's family is responsible for covering $250 of the camp costs, while our chapter provides the remaining $1050 of the $1300 tuition..
These camps are very popular and fill quickly, so the selection process must take place in the fall of the prior year. Prospective campers for the 2026 summer camps may apply through November 30, 2025 by sending an email to eaachapter706@gmail.com which includes the following:
