EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.
Chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, Ray Aviation Scholarship, and more, to build awareness in the community.
EAA Chapter 706 is based at Alexander Field (KISW), South Wood County Airport, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Everyone is welcome to join us - anyone interested in aviation. We often have informative speakers, good food and always a lively discussion.
EAA Chapter 706 is holding monthly in-person meetings on the second Wednesday of each month, with a social starting at 6pm, dinner at 6:30 pm and the meeting beginning at 7pm. We meet in the large community hangar at the airport.
