Mahalia Castleberg has been awarded one of the 2025 Ray Aviation Scholarships through EAA Chapter 631. Her interest in aviation began with a short helicopter ride at a fair. In 2023 she took her first Young Eagles flight and received encouragement to pursue her interest in aviation.
Mahalia made application and was selected to be awarded a Ray Aviation Scholarship. Her CFI is Dave Nielsen at Shell Lake WI. On 08/07/2025 Mahalia completed her first solo and is looking forward to continuing her journey into the world of aviation.
