David Lorentz, the Birchwood Science teacher, reached out to our 631
Chapter. Currently David is teaching physics to his eighth-grade class. He
asked Bruce Dakins for assistance in teaching Bernoulli's Principle. On April 14
Bruce went to the classroom and gave a presentation on flight principals. Then on April 16,
students came to the Shell Lake Airport. Bruce and Gerry Winch gave them an introduction to airport operations
and general aviation.
