Experience the Heart of Chapter 512
Our monthly gathering is the centerpiece of the Chapter 512 community. Whether you are a veteran pilot, a first-time builder, or just someone who loves the round sounds of a radial engine, you are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of every month for an evening of shared memories and community connection.
Summer Picnic Meetings (April – October) During the warmer months, our meetings move outdoors to our beautiful Chapter Park and Garden. This area is a true labor of love, maintained by the same dedicated spirit that rescued our vintage 1930s Quonset hangar. Today, you can relax at the concrete tables handcrafted by Past President Don Ide and enjoy the shade of trees carefully nurtured by our members over the decades. It is the perfect spot to social hour and share a meal while watching the sunset over the active runway.
- Social hour and potluck begin at 6:00 PM. Chapter meeting begins 7:00 PM, featuring guest speakers, member updates, and chapter news.
- We provide the BBQ’d hamburgers and hotdogs. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share (and your beverage of choice).
