Flight Schools: The Chippewa Valley has two premier flight schools: Gibson Aviation and Link Aviation.
Discovery Flights: A discovery flight is an introductory flight lesson designed to give potential pilots a firsthand experience of flying an airplane. During the experience, a certified flight instructor guides you through pre-flight procedures, takeoff, and basic maneuvers, often allowing you to take the controls at cruising altitude. It's a realistic preview of pilot training, where you can see if you have a passion for flying!
