Located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, EAA Chapter 509 is a 501(c)3 charitable organization which represents the Chippewa Valley region of the national EAA organization. We are a volunteer driven nonprofit, dedicated to serving our community through education, outreach, and hands-on experiences. Our chapter hosts programs that range from technical workshops and safety seminars, to community gatherings that celebrate the spirit of flight. This year to date, we have provided 115 Young Eagle rides to youth in the community, ages 8-17. These activities bring together families, students, and aviation enthusiasts of all ages while also making aviation accessible to those who might never otherwise step foot in an airplane.

At the heart of our mission is youth engagement. Through initiatives like Young Eagles flights, mentorship, and educational programs; we open the door to opportunities that many young people never imagine are within their reach. By introducing students to aviation, teaching them real world skills, and surrounding them with the encouragement to explore, we help them build confidence and envision futures they may not have thought possible. The impact of our work is reflected not just in the events we host, but in the lasting inspiration, skills, and opportunities we provide to the next generation.

Your contributions serve to further these efforts.  Any amount you wish to donate is very much appreciated.  Our non-profit corporation tax id is 33-3786236. The name is EAA Chapter 509 Inc.
