Our April 5 and May 4 Young Eagles Flight Rallies were rained out. On June 1st 10 of our pilots took 105 Young Eagles aloft. We have scheduled two more Young Eagles events after Labor Day (weather permitting and if there are no flight restrictions) for Sunday, September 14 and Sunday, October 19.
Our scheduling of free Eagle Flights (for adults thinking of getting a pilot's license) continues all year long.
Chapter 501's Fly-In scheduled for June 21 had to be cancelled because 30 mile-across VIP TFR Notams were posted for the Morristown-Bedminster area that weekend. We will try again on Saturday, October 11. (Updated flyer to be posted).
