Who we are... Welcome to EAA43's Young Aviator Page.
We are a special group formed within EAA Chapter 43 for young folks whose interest and passion for aviation goes beyond that Young Eagles flight. Our group gives kids from 12-18 the opportunity to be part of the aviation community on a regular basis and learn more about aircraft and flying. We are ALWAYS working on an aviation-related project and regularly volunteer in the community at aviation related events.
We meet twice monthly (the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month). On the 2nd Saturday, we meet in the Mt. Evans Room (2nd floor main terminal building – Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport) from 1:00p – 4:00p. Aviation topic speakers, hangar visits, on line study programs, career development, and on field BJC tours typically make up these 2nd Saturday meetings. For the 4th Saturday sessions, we arrange field trips.
