Meetings are usually held the second Saturday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Flatirons Room at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC) Terminal Building.

Our meetings are varied and informative. They cover all aspects of aviation from how to cover a fabric cover airplane, how to rivet and even how to fabricate an instrument panel. We have presenters who talk on aircraft safety, how to paint your aircraft, aircraft history and many other varied subjects.

About Us
We are an enthusiastic group of airplane builders, pilots, and folks just plain crazy about aviation. Additionally, as you can tell by its low number, our chapter is the oldest chapter in Colorado! We date back to June 1958

We have many types of aircraft in our chapter, both homebuilt and factory built. From gliders, ultralights, classics, and warbirds, our members have tens of thousands of hours combined of experience. We also have a number of members who do not fly and may never fly, but they love airplanes and fit right in. If you love things that fly, come join us!

If you are at all interested, come Join Us for a meeting! You do not have to be a member to visit one of our meetings. And if you like what you see, it only costs $25.00 per year to be a full member of the chapter.

We also publish a monthly newsletter, available on this website and announced by E-mail.
