Exploring Aviation Through Simulation
Through University of Nevada, Reno Extension and Nevada 4-H, students have access to Redbird TD2 flight simulators that help introduce cockpit familiarization, basic aircraft maneuverability, modern G1000 glass cockpit concepts, and aviation decision-making in a structured educational environment.
These simulators provide high school students another pathway to explore aviation, build confidence, and experience how aircraft respond in a safe, guided learning setting using the Redbird GIFT training system.
