From National Weather Service: A storm cell is forming 20 miles northwest of Oshkosh. There is the potential for 25-30 mph wind gusts & rain. If this cell tracks towards Oshkosh, it could arrive around 4:30 to 4:40 p.m.
This Waiex, N569KM, was built and is owned by Michael Farley of Plain City, OH. It is powered by an 80 hp AeroVee 2180CC VW engine and swings a Prince P-Tip wood core propeller. It is equipped for day and night VFR flying using an MGL EFIS system. Normal cruise speed is 130 MPH burning 5 GPH. First flown in 2012, after a 2.5 year build time. It is now based at Marysville (MRT).
