Larry Hale
This Cessna 172 was owned by EAA Chapter 1629 member Larry Hale. It was a 1963 Cessna 172D and Larry has owned it since 1971 and was only the third owner of this plane. Larry happens to be the father of current EAA Chapter 1629 Vice President Andrew Hale. Andrew learned how to fly and obtained his private pilot's license in this bird. This plane has always been kept in a hangar and after 49 years Larry decided to sell this plane. He now owns the Ercoupe pictured below.
