Hello Chapter Members
We had a great chapter meeting at Ak-Chin in October. The weather started out threatening but ended up being fantastic. I hope you didn’t miss it. We had an interesting presentation by Mike Moore about the F-16 aggressor operation at Williams Gateway and Joe Granado filled us in on what it’s like to take delivery of a new airplane from Cessna.
The first Young Eagles event of the season will be October 26, 2024. We have a lot of kids to fly on that day and will need many pilots and ground volunteers! Please consider helping out. Let Lisa Pham know you will help by contacting her. Lisa Pham 520-302-5472

Your November 16th at 10am chapter meeting will be at the Still/EAA hangar. The meeting will be an open house for the hangar row where members will be asked to open their hangar and show off their airplane. We will have our chapter business meeting in the Still hangar (R5) and Chef Rick will once again be cooking burgers for us.
In November our chapter will have Chapter Officer and Board of Directors elections. If you have thoughts about getting more involved in your chapter, now is the time. Do you know someone that you think would help make us a better chapter? Please encourage them to run for a chapter office or serve the chapter in some way. Reply to this email to self nominate or ask about filling a chapter role.
It's not too early to pay your 2025 dues. Dues are only $20/year. When you come to a meeting Mark Weiss will be happy to accept your cash, check or money order. Or you can pay by clicking here.
We enjoyed breakfast in Marana at the Sky Raider Cafe for our October flyout. Why weren’t you there? We created the monthly flyout to get more of our members a reason to fly their airplanes. Especially in the summer it’s easy to let the airplane become non-current. Try to participate in every flyout you can. We have one planned for each month.
Our November flyout will be to Bisbee on Saturday November 9th. There will be transportation into town to enjoy Farmers Market, Food and Music Festival. The Festival is all weekend so consider an overnight stay. Please RSVP Mark (the enforcer) Weiss at mweiss1@cox.com or text at 480-528-7177. We need to know you are coming so we can have transportation for you.
