The Aim for the Sky Initiative Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization -- separate and distinct from EAA Chapter 122, Inc. -- that provides outreach opportunities to Capital Area youth to engage them with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) skills through exposure to aviation.
'AIM for the SKY' raises capital through annual fundraising activities -- such as our June Sporting Clays Shoot (see below) -- then uses that capital to provide scholarship opportunities and interactive experiences for diverse Capital Area youth from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Scholarships awarded fund aviation-based summer camps (EAA Air Academy), technical vocational training (A&P/avionics technician), basic flight training (private pilot's license), and post-secondary college education.
