(also called "homebuilt"), also offers many seminars for pilots, builders, and just for interest.
The NorthEast Experimental Fly-In with Seminars is hosted annually by EAA Chapter 106
This FREE event (but come hungry to help support our expenses) offers you the opportunity to:
1) See experimental aircraft (also known as homebuilt from a kit or plans) which are built under the FAA category of Experimental / Amateur-Built or E-AB).

2) Attend/participate in several free seminars and workshops. These may include hands-on how to build an aircraft, aviation safety, and many other topics.

Attend one or more seminars/workshops, this event only counts for 1 credit.
If you do want WINGS credit, please preregister. This allows an attendee list to be created before the event so that you can just sign in by initialing your registration when you attend. Otherwise, you will need to fill out a form at the event and the FAASTeam Rep will need to interpret your handwriting (name, FAASafety.gov email and zip code) to search for your record in order to give you WINGS credit.
NOTE: If you do not need/want WINGS credit, you do not need to register - just show up.

LOCATION OF EVENT:
NOT in the main airport terminal area which is other side of the airport from EAA106.
EAA Chapter 106's hangars and ramp area are on the north side of the Lawrence Municipal Airport (LWM).
IF FLYING IN:
HOMEBUILT AIRCRAFT:
Please taxi along taxiway ECHO just past the North Ramp parking area and turn right as directed between the white hangars on the left and the red & the tan hangars on the right; the Fly-In ground team will identify parking for homebuilts.
Ground frequency when on taxiway ECHO: 123.45
Preregister (see above for the link or below QR code) your homebuilt for display & free food
(1 breakfast & lunch per homebuilt aircraft on display).
PRODUCTION AIRCRAFT:
Please park in the North Ramp parking (the large parking area next to taxiway ECHO), then walk past the red hangars to the event (be mindful of all the do not cross lines -- the tower does not want to see persons in the movement areas). BEWARE: aircraft may be taxiing out just past the red hangar row.
DRIVING IN:
Use GPS address 19 Holt Rd, No. Andover, MA to located GATE 4
Turn onto Holt Rd off Rt-125 in North Andover. At the end of Holt Rd, turn right onto Clark Street and go about 100 yards. Gate 4 will be on the left on North Ramp Road. Gate 4 will be manned 8:30am-Noon. Please arrive during those times.
