Chapter Gathering:
The general public is welcome to join us at the chapter gathering on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. If you wish to attend a meeting or have a question, send a message using the form under Contact Us.
November thru March the meeting will be inside, social hour starts at 6PM and the meeting starts at 7PM.
April thru October are Picnic Meetings starting at 6PM. The picnic is Potluck: please bring a dessert or side dish or salad. The chapter will provide BBQ'd hamburgers and hotdogs. BYOB. It has been a tradition for Chapter 512 to have summer picnic meetings in our park.
The park has expanded from a couple of benches back in the 1980s when the hangar was built by those men in our Chapter who could see the future and wanted it better for the membership. Their vision was to build a solid hangar, have it paid for by hard labor and donations and to have an area where in the members could socialize in the summers. This was achieved nicely.
Today the picnic area has multiple concrete tables and benches thanks to Past President Don Ide who constructed them. Additionally the trees which were carefully planted to allow proper shade have been nurtured thus giving the desired effect.
