Monday, Feb 13, 2023 - Almost 18 years ago, well known aviation author Carl Posey, wrote an article in the Smithsonian Magazine about our own Anoka County - Blaine airport. If you would like to know more about our airport history, we think you will find this a very interesting read. Long-time chapter members will recognize many names in the article, and our newer members will enjoy and appreciate learning some airport history. |

Tuesday, Dec 20, 2022 - Lex Cralley and his son, Aaron received a Silver Wrench award for their outstanding work on a Boeing PT-13D Stearman owned by Matt Quy of Rosemount, Minnesota. The aircraft is painted in a unique paint scheme meant to honor those missing in action from US wars. More..... |

Wednesday, Nov 2, 2022 - We are in the process of starting up a new local flying club at Anoka County Airport. The first club aircraft will be a Zenith 701 which a group of chapter members have been building for the last several years. It is now ready for it's first flight but it needs to be transferred to the flying club before the first test flight.
