Founded in 1992, the Young Eagles program is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
Today, the Young Eagles program has flown over 2.5 million kids.
Chapter 14 flew its first Young Eagles in 1993, the year after EAA launched the program.

After the flight: Every Young Eagle unlocks the free EAA Young Eagles Flight Plan, including a free EAA Student Membership, free online ground school, and more to help take the next step toward becoming a pilot, worth over $600 in free training.
Chapter 14 holds a Young Eagles rally on the second Saturday of each month. Registration opens two weeks before each event. See the upcoming event below to sign up.
