Chapter 14 is at Brown Field (KSDM), 1409 Continental Street, San Diego, CA 92154, right next to the control tower. Meetings are in Hangar 1, closest to the flight line.
Driving
Construction changed the route. Don't trust your GPS past the main entrance.
- From I-905, take the Britannia Blvd exit north. Turn left on Otay Mesa Rd.
- Turn right at the Cactus Rd stoplight into Brown Field.
- Head toward the old tower and veer right at the stop sign to Gate 4.
- Call the hangar phone at 619-661-6520. You'll get directions from there.
- Drive through Gate 4 and turn left into the construction area.
- Turn right at the fence along Taxiway Alpha and follow the dirt road past the tower to our hangars.
On the airfield: Stay under 15 MPH on the dirt road. The dirt kicks up a lot of dust near turbines and piston airplanes.
Young Eagles rally days: An escort meets you at Gate 4 and walks you through the aircraft movement area. Please don't park in volunteer parking near the tower.
Flying In
After landing at KSDM, contact ground and request taxi to EAA. We're just east of the control tower, south of Taxiway Alpha.
