EAA Chapter 14 has over 1,450 hard-cover library books on-site at our facility at Brown Field. To see if we have a specific book, click on one of the links below. Titles are listed alphabetically.
All hard-cover books have been assigned a category. The books are filed by category in either Hangar 1 or the Office Trailer (most of the books are in the Office Trailer). Stickers on the library shelves identify each category. Within each category, the books are alphabetized by title on the shelves. Note: some of the larger, heavier books have been placed on the bottom shelves. The library listing indicates if they are a large book – look for them on the lower shelves in alphabetical order. For the category Manuals, the small manuals are on one shelf; they are identified on the listing as small books. Each book is labeled with the applicable category; the label is normally found on the bottom right hand corner of the book’s cover.
We do not maintain a listing of paperbacks or fiction books. Due to space constraints, we only maintain hard cover fiction books which are aviation related.
Checking out books is on the honor system. But please bring them back – others may be interested in or need exactly the same book. To ensure someone else can find the book, please place them in the Returned Book box in the second room of the library. We will refile the book by category in alphabetical order.
If you wish to donate a book, please place it in the Donated Book box in the second room of the library. We will label it and enter it into the database.
