Have you ever dreamed of learning to fly? EAA's Flying Start program is designed to help adults turn that dream into reality.
Hosted by local EAA chapters, Flying Start introduces prospective pilots to the opportunities, rewards, and practical aspects of learning to fly. Participants learn about flight training, pilot certification requirements, costs, and the many ways to become involved in aviation.
The program typically includes an informative presentation, opportunities to meet and talk with experienced pilots, and a complimentary introductory flight through EAA's Eagle Flights program.
Whether you're interested in becoming a private pilot or simply curious about aviation, Flying Start provides an excellent introduction to the exciting world of personal flying.
